Can I just brag on my bestie for a minute? Look at the awesome job she did with the graduation cupcakes for her son’s graduation party this past weekend.
The graduation caps are mini-reese cups with cut Hershey’s bars for the top. M&M’s are on the very top for the tassles. She made the cupcake toppers with her printer, scrapbook paper and paper punches. Awesome!
The cookies even have photos of her son on them.
What kid wouldn’t love to have that spread?!
Monkey Cake Topper
On the complete other end of the spectrum, here are a few photos of the graduation cake I made for the Princess Cupcake’s last day of preschool (Yep, I’m not old enough to have a kid graduating from high school. Hahahaha, lying…). The class mascot was a monkey so that naturally called for a monkey cake topper.
When I made monkey — several days early I might add — monkey was sitting upright:
By the time I got the cake to school, monkey was chillaxin on top. Which is exactly what us Dallas mom’s need to be doing now that summer’s here! Enjoy!
