Our Elf on the Shelf, Jewel is at it again. Any excuse for that one to play princess, she grabs it. I’m beginning to wonder if she’s even going back to the North Pole each night to tell Santa about the puggies at all, or if she’s just playing dress up around our house? Oh well, if she wants to play hooky, I guess that’s between her and the big guy.
Somehow last night Jewel convinced Chintz (our original Elf on the Shelf) to be the handsome Flynn Ryder and rescue her (Rapunzel) from the castle by climbing up her now goth-like black hair. In classic fairytale style, Chintz is wearing his (aluminum foil) armor, with a sword, and has to get past the fire breathing dragon first. Not to mention dodge Daddy’s dirty clothes as they came flying out of the shower this morning.

Everyday should be a party, but that would be EXHAUSTING! I do like to plan for a big bash though. Here’s a few ways that we like to level up holidays and celebrations!
