Those crazy girls (and Shawn) at the “Pink House” did it again. If it wasn’t enough that they were debuting the new Vera Bradley bedding, they pulled out all the stops.
Inspired by Pinterest and a recent visit to New York to meet Amy Atlas, Jeanan, Shawn and the matriarch Miss Nan had another jaw dropping culinary display for all their loving customers.
Jeanan out did herself with “hamburger” cupcakes,
“sundae” cupcakes,
“popcorn” cupcakes,
and “nacho with jalapeño” cookies,
but the cake by C Star Cakes stole the show again.
I mean really.
C’mon.
The ridiculousness is over the top.
Here’s the inspiration:
And here’s the cake again.
Where? Where’s the cake?
Yes, that’s the Vera Bradley cake in the middle.
And that’s why me and the Cupcake never miss a Vintage House party! There’s so much to see – like the new hats!
Yes, we came home with a hat…
Update: Those crazy Pink House ladies did it AGAIN two weeks later with the summer Vera Bradley launch. Check out the C-Star cake this time:
It’s a near perfect replica of the new “pat-ren” (as the Cupcake calls it) Indigo Pop in the “Home & Away Cosmetic” case perched on top of the towel set.
See, it’s really cake!
Personally, I fell in love with the school office supplies. There’s nothing better than brightening your office with Vera Bradley notebooks, three ring binders — and of course,
markers.
You can visit the Vintage House (aka, the Pink House) in old downtown Carrollton. Ask for Nan, and tell her that MommyUpgrade sent you. It’ll guarantee you a jug and an Otis Spunkmeyer cookie for sure.
I love all the different patterns and colors. That is so beautiful. Great Job!
