Have you seen these cool pearl ribbon and bead bracelets?
They look super complicated, but my sister figured them out and made them for our 7th Craft Exchange. Since the theme was Breakfast at Tiffany’s, she chose a pretty pale blue, and the pearls were a perfect fit. I think they’re so fun! Think about all the different color and bead and length combinations you could do! In her words, here’s her inspiration and how she made them, and a how-to video for step-by-step details.
What was your inspiration for this project?
It’s what caught my eye when searching for ideas on Pinterest
What materials did you use?
Beads, ribbon, fishing line, rings, hot glue
Where did you get your materials?
All from Joann’s (except fishing line which I borrowed from husband)
Cost of materials:
Approximately $25-30
How did you make it?
Used fishing line to string beads on ribbon for bracelet and strung beads on line and then used ribbon for necklaces.
How long did it take per item?
Bracelets – about 20 minutes each, necklaces – about 40 minutes
What was the hardest part about making this?
Getting it to look exactly the way I wanted it to look – sometimes ribbon would not cooperate
What was the funnest part about making this?
Loved making the bracelets, it was really easy and turned out really nice
Do you like it?
Yes, bracelets more than necklaces (planning on making more bracelets in different colors)
These are really cool! Here’s a short video I found on YouTube to help you get started.
