The Longest Ride & Ariat Jeans Giveaway

Y’all, I’m going to get straight to it. I’ve got stuff to give-away and you’re gonna want it.

Who wears jeans every day? (Raises hand) Yep, you’ll notice I’ll never hashtag myself as a fashion blogger (unless it’s completely self-depricating), as my fashion sense ends at jeans, boots, and whatever matches my latest StitchFix shipment.

And I’m okay with that. I’ve learned to embrace my casual side — I sneak jeggings into work meetings on the reg.

But thanks to a team up of Ariat International, a leading wester footwear and apparel company, and 20th Century Fox’s adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks book, The Longest Ride, you too can join my jeans club.

I am giving away a gift certificate redeemable for 1 pair of Ariat denim jeans (up to $89) and a paperback copy of The Longest Ride. So you’d better enter.

Here are a few of my favorite Ariat Jeans styles that I’ll be shopping for:

I’m loving the floral detail on these Boyfriend True Grit jeans.

I’d probably live in a pair of these Turquoise Sunset Spitfire

Or these Ruby Iron Rose Sapphire would be fun for date night. (Who am I kidding. I never get date night unless it’s a table for 3!)

And if you know me well, you’ll also know that I have zero time to read. I LOVE books, I love to read them, but it never happens. I stack them on my nightstand and dream of one day devouring them cover to cover. And then so much time goes past, the book is made into a movie and I watch that instead. So… if you’re like me in that sense as well… You’ll also win a copy of The Longest Ride by Nicholas Sparks. In case you haven’t heard about it yet, THE LONGEST RIDE is about a star-crossed love affair between Luke (played by Scott Eastwood), a former champion bull rider looking to make a comeback (see the western jeans connection?), and Sophia (Britt Robertson), a college student who is about to embark upon her dream job in New York City’s art world.  As conflicting paths and ideals test their relationship, Sophia and Luke make an unexpected connection with Ira (Alan Alda), whose memories of his own decades-long romance with his beloved wife deeply inspire the young couple.  Spanning generations and two intertwining love stories, THE LONGEST RIDE explores the challenges and infinite rewards of enduring love.

So win your copy and you too can pose like an avid reader by putting it unopened on your nightstand like me, but then go see the movie which opens in theaters on April 10th. It looks REALLY good. Here’s a clip:

What’s the connection between Ariat and The Longest Ride? For the 20th Century Fox release, Ariat brought western authenticity and knowledge about rodeo, bull riding, cowboys and overall western lifestyle to the film. They helped create a sponsorship of the lead character, the dreamy Luke Collins,

by working closely with the costume designers and helping provide apparel and footwear to create an authentic bull rider. (For more information on the Ariat and The Longest Ride partnership, click here.)
