Watch the greatest rock & roll jam session of all time

What do Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley have in common? Other than being musical icons that helped shape our cultural landscape? Each of these legendary musicians’ careers were launched by Sam Phillips, aptly called the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll.” And while the viewing public didn’t get to see these four perform on the regular, on one single evening, Sam was able to gather them together for what has become known as one of the greatest jam sessions in history. That incredible evening is the true story inspiration for the Million Dollar Quartet, the Tony® Award-winning Broadway musical coming to the Music Hall at Fair Park February 27 & 28 (presented by Dallas Summer Musicals), and Bass Performance Hall February 29th (presented by Performing Arts of Fort Worth).

MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET brings that legendary night to life with an irresistible tale of broken promises, secrets, betrayal and celebrations featuring timeless hits including “Blue Suede Shoes,” “That’s All Right,” “Sixteen Tons,” “Great Balls of Fire,” “I Walk the Line,” “Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On,” “See Ya Later, Alligator,” “Fever,” “Folsom Prison Blues,” “Hound Dog” and more. Information about the colorful performers who will portray these musical greats can be found here.
