The Princess Cupcake visits her Mimi each year before Christmas. Last year she was shocked to find out the Chintz, her Elf on the Shelf, had travelled with us. He was very busy with post-it notes and stamping her face while she was sleeping. She was concerned that Chintz wouldn’t know where to go again this year. There was much discussion with Chintz about Louisiana and how far we had to drive so he would know exactly where to find us.
With all the excitement of presents at Mimi’s, the Cupcake kinda forgot about her Elf on the Shelf (no offense elves, it was a fast and furious visit) following her across state lines and all. But low and behold, she was hanging out in the living room and made a sudden gasp, “MOMMA! LOOK!“
A la Where’s Waldo, Chintz and Jewel had found the perfect hiding spot. Drawn to the Santa collection on the dining room table, they donned a couple of beards and blended right in.
Smart elves not to make a mess at Mimi’s house. She’s not all the Elf-friendly when it comes to their mischievous ways…
Everyday should be a party, but that would be EXHAUSTING! I do like to plan for a big bash though. Here’s a few ways that we like to level up holidays and celebrations!
