It was a big day around here: Christmas program day at school. Christmas party at school. Giving Christmas gifts at school. The operative word “school” means there’s an 8 a.m. deadline. “Big day” translates to Mommy is very, very tired from all the activity to wrap and get ready that replaced her sleep time last night to get everything travel-ready by 8 a.m. (Stay tuned for the easy treat we made for friends – at the very, I mean very last minute…)
That countdown in and of itself is exhausting, not to even mention all the piano playing that kept me awake during the wee hours of the morning. Seems as though our Elf on a Shelf, Chintz, came back from the North Pole all excited about the Cupcake’s big day. He put on a bow tie and cape with tails, and was giving his very own holiday Elf on a Shelf Piano Concerto.
He even left a special note for the Cupcake about her pageant. What a thoughtful Elf.

Thank you so much! Your blog is a pleasure to read ALWAYS! I have recently shared it with my sister-in-law, who is also housing an Elf! Take care and Merry Christmas!
